Goodbye

I fell in love with him in A Knight's Tale and The Patriot. I didn't get to see his performance in Brokeback Mountain and I really want to. I was looking forward to watching him as the Joker in the new Batman movie... now I don't know if I will be able to.

This is one guy I will really miss.

If this was an overdose I wonder why... he had so much going for him.

So sad.

I adored every Heath Ledger movie that I saw. I was so sad when I heard that he died. I was even sadder when I realized that someone is going to have to explain to a beautiful little girl why she can't see her daddy anymore.

I was thinking of his little one, too. How sad. KC has had a crush on him ever since 10 Things I Hate About You.
28 is too young.

It is sad... and senseless.

it's even sadder that nobody was close enough to him to see the signs and help him.

It is sad, but it makes me want to kick his ass. Such a waist.

Very sad.

This is such a shame...my gnome found one news site that speculated it might be suicide. He split from his wife last year I guess...but it is such a shame to see someone so young have a life snuffed out...

My prayers are with his family...

I liked him too, even though I hadn't seen all of his work. I think he was getting better and better...

It's a tragedy. I don't know what else to say.

I thought he was hot. (That sounds disrepectful but really I thought he was hot)

You must see "Brokeback Mountain". It is an excellent movie and his performance is phenonmenal.

I only saw Mr. Ledger perform in one movie, "The Patriot," which I liked so very much that I added it to my personal home collection. I thought the entire movie was very well done and his performance superior. There are no words to describe the loss of a very young and promising life under any circumstances. Whether deliberate suicide or accidental overdose, there were deep-seated demons in his life that develed him into the depths of dispair. Such a needless, lonely journey with no good end. Sad...so unnecessarily sad.

You must see "Four Feathers" if you haven't. That is what made me love him!! It is a bit gory because it involves war, but he was brilliant in it. I also enjoyed the Patriot.

Have you read the bizarre news stories about the masseuse's many calls to Mary-Kate Olson? Seems she called her twice before she even called paramedics, and then twice more while they were there pronouncing him dead on the scene.

The news of his death made me sad. But this makes me a little creeped out.
