Isn't it supposed to be December? Aren't we supposed to be in coats and gloves?I just walked outside and I be damned if it isn't HOT! I have on a light-weight, long-sleeved shirt and jeans (Levi's -- mmmm, comfy)... but I need to change into short sleeves. And maybe even shorts.
I want winter. It is supposed to be chilly at Christmas time; not 71 degrees! And it is supposed to be up to 75 on Wednesday. I don't like this at all. This isn't my idea of Christmas weather.

It's pretty cold here today - 30 degrees. Oh, and it started snowing about 30 minutes ago. Yay!
I too have the cold weather [and we had 3.5 inches of snow on Wednesday..woohoo!] and you are most welcome to our home, anytime, to enjoy our weather.
I will be on my way to GA in the meantime...

It was -14 here the other day. THAT was the warm day!

I don't want it to get THAT cold... just cold enough to feel like Christmas.
Yesterday it was 80 degrees and humid and hot!
Today, it isn't getting out of the 40's and they are talking about wintery-mix precipitation!
It was 84 here today so 71 is sounding pretty darn good to me.
As a matter of fact, we were going to put Christmas lights on the house yesterday and it was way too hot and the sun was too strong in the morning (our house faces south), so we were going to wait until afternoon. Nope, couldn't do it then because it POURED for over an hour and then it was just plain miserably hot and humid.
The good news is the lights went up today. But it's still too dang hot here.
Nor sure where Ann lives...sounds like south of me here in St. Pete, FL. We didn't have a hint of rain, but "enjoyed" spring-like temps in the mid-80s...so much so that we spent the afternoon at the beach! I want you to have all the cold weather you desire. If fact you can have any of the cold weather that may come our way. We like the warm Florida winter days. Cold weather for me means that Judi sleeps in flannel PJs. Therefore, I dispise cold waether on that level as well. Give me all the warm days at the beach in quest of another "Green Flash! Here's hoping you have fannel PJ weather soon!
