Want to freak out your kids?

Take them with you when you sign up for belly dancing lessons!

My sis-in-law and I rented a belly-dancing DVD from the library, and started "to excercise". Our 5 girls were looking at us like we were crazy. By the end of the video, they were very into it!!! Crazy, huh??; 11:22 AM

My mom (mission Mary, not Betty) was a very skilled belly dancer. She won awards and her photo published in the paper a couple of times.
Anyway, she used to drag that blasted costume (and the castinettes) out when I had a boyfriend over. (shudder). I'm talking about freaking out your kid when she is 30, never mind a kid! Although, she did that to me when I was a kid, too.
Mind you, I would do it to my kids. Aren't I awful?

Marni said...: They were SO embarrassed! I told them "I'm going to go to your school for a performance or anything... but I think I'm going to dress like Jasmine for Halloween!" I thought their eyes would bulge out of their heads...
