A great find

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod!

We went to Wal-Mart last night for school supplies. (yuck)

We were diverted by the big bin of $5 movies. Usually they have crap in there... movies you have never even heard of. Last night though? I walked away with one of my ab.so.lute. favorite movies.

Are you ready?

Eddie and the Cruisers!!!! (screaming like a young 'un at an Elvis concert)

Do you remember it? Michael Pare... rockin' songs... mystery... Michael Pare (don't know how to get that little tic mark above the e)... I cannot wait to pop that puppy in and watch it again. It has been ages!!!!

Oh, yeah. Carl picked up all three Rambo movies. woohoo

They had other decent ones; I may go back and pick up more. For $5 you can beat Agent Cody Banks (for the kids of course), The Cable Guy, Good Burger, or The General's Daughter... ya know? There were more REALLY good ones, but these are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

But I got Eddie. I am down right giddy!

Did the have "Attack of the killer tomatos"? I'd pay $5 to see that one again. Maybe even $5.50.

I absolutely LOVE the bargain bin at Walmart (I've blogged about it before too:) I make sure I dig through the DVDs everytime I'm there. It's usually hit or miss. But I've found some real treasures there for 5 buck. Like Urban Cowboy, Ten, History of the World Part 1, and Milo and Otis!

Maybe all the good videos are stuck in only one five dollar bin. I guess that's why ours is always such crap -- YOU have all the good videos!

When movies are that cheap I start to wonder what's wrong with the disk. Will I open the package to find a Baby Beethoven DVD instead of THE UNTOUCHABLES?

Hahaha I so totally know that feeling. Whenever I get DVDs for dirt cheap, I always feel like I've won the lottery!

Is there anything better than finding movies you love in a bargain bin?

I love to look through the bins. I usually talk myself out of it but what really makes me mad is when I find movies marked way way down after I have just paid regular price for it.

Loved Good Burger. Took my oldest nephew to the movie to see that one. He's 17 this month. Can't believe it.
