Let the festivities begin

This is going to be a crazy weekend. We have a lot of travelling to do...

Today we go to my mom and step-dad's - which is 90 miles ONE WAY - for a Christmas party for step-dad's family.

Tomorrow (Christmas eve) we head to my dad's (Coffeypot) for our party. He lives about 45-50 miles away... we'll open presents and then head home for Santa's visit.

THEN... Christmas day... we get up, enjoy Santa's surprise, eat breakfast, open presents, take our showers, and head BACK to my mom's.

I know, I know... that is crazy you say. But it is tradition. Christmas Eve with Dad and Christmas Day with Mom. I don't mind it too much. I hate being in the car so much, but I love being with my parents. Plus. Mom makes a kick ass Christmas lunch and it wouldn't be the same if we did it here... Oh well.

Sacrifices...

But to all of my blog friends...

I wish you a safe, happy, WARM holiday. You have opened my eyes and heart this year and I am thankful to know you. I hope you get to be with the ones you love, and if you can't, call them or talk to them in any way you can. May God bless you all with your heart's desire... Merry Christmas.

You truly will be busy! Sounds like fun, tho, and well worth the travels.

Merry belated Christmas! Sorry it involves so much driving - but at least you can visit without having to stay over for days at a time. I wouldn't mind that with my family!
