Celebrate

J-man brought home all of his homework every day this week. And completed it. AND turned it in!

To celebrate, he and I have a date tonight. We are going to dinner and a movie. No dad. No sister. Just the two of us.

I can't wait!

YAY, J-man!

What a wonderful idea. (I do this with the girls sometimes.)I think that it's a perfect way to celebrate.
Tell him congrats, and keep up the good work!!!

YAY J-Man!

I wish my teenager would agree to date night with his mom...

*sigh*

That's terrific. Sixth grade is a rough year. It's a big adjustment from the hand holding of elementary school to the you're-on-your-own attitude of middle school teachers.
Enjoy these date nights with him while you still can. All too soon he won't want to be seen in public with you.

So glad to hear that J is doing better. Now -- how was date night? Does your husband know you're hotfooting it on the town with another man?!?!
