Whelp... I did it. The picture you see over there is my new tattoo. She is on the inside of my right ankle.
I went to a fantastic shop - Ink and Dagger Tattoo Parlour - in a trendy part of Atlanta. The fella that inked me was cute, sweet, patient, and absolutely wonderful. If I ever decide on another tattoo I will most definitely head back to Jason.
It only took 30 minutes. The mouse part was easy peasy, but when Jason worked on the flowers I thought I would lose my mind. That part is closer to the shin bone so it has less mass to dull the pain. The pain was like getting a really bad sunburn and rubbing it with a dry washcloth. Doesn't sound too painful, but it was... and it was irritating! Carl was with me so whenever he saw me wincing or holding my breath he would get my attention and puff out his cheeks then blow through his lips. He'd say "breathe"... and it helped so much. He even had me counting ceiling tiles a couple of times. He was so helpful!
The funniest thing happened in regards to the colors. Jason had placed the transfer and then said "OK... I was thinking of doing the mouse gray and the flowers blue and orange." I said, "No. No you won't." Both Carl's and Jason's heads snapped up to look at me... I was strangely adamant and they didn't know what to think about it. Carl asked why and I said "I be damned if I'm going to have Florida Gator colors on my leg for the rest of my life." (If you know me, I am a die-hard Georgia Bulldog... the Gators SUCK). Jason said, "oooook... how about blue and red?" I agreed to that, but one of the flowers is still blue/orange. The blue isn't a true Florida blue and it is so tiny I just say those are the colors for the company I work for (which is true).
Anyhoo... there she is. I am proud of her and proud to have it on my leg. I smile every time I look at her. She reminds me of so much - youth, family, parents, PawPaw. She makes me happy. So very happy.

That has to be the CUTEST tattoo I have ever seen. I LOVE IT!
I think I could tolerate 30 minutes for a tattoo. Maybe...er, well. No.
Glad, so happy you got it. Jason did a fantastic job.
Thank you so much. I searched for a loooong time to find her and am thrilled with the results.
Hugs!
