This is turning into a Grimmy blog! He will be thrilled! LOL
He is doing fine.
We took him to the vet on Saturday for more bloodwork. I'm not sure if I'll get this right, but you'll get gist of it...
When he was diagnosed, his Lympha-something-doctorish count was 129+. (Normal is between 2 and 4). This week, it was down to around 25. MUCH better, but still pretty high. The doctor says he isn't cured... he is still a sick boy... but he is doing well. We have given him some more time.
He still isn't in pain. He is actually somewhat back to normal. He barks all. the. time. (like usual) and he constantly wants to eat eat eat eat eat. I swear that dog would eat 24/7 if we'd let him. Every time we get off the couch, he prances into the kitchen with his ears cocked back to listen if we are following him, stands in front of his bowl, and looks at it - then us - forlornly. We just tell him "not now" and he looks SO dejected. We just giggle.
He hasn't gained any more weight even with all he eats, but he isn't losing tons of weight either. He is stable in that and we are grateful.
I don't know how many of you actually send up prayers for a pupper, but, if you do, THANK YOU. It is working. He is stable, sound, and just as sweet as ever.
oops.
