Can't take it any more

I'm going to the doctor today to have my arm looked at. My carpal tunnel is getting worse and I need some relief.

The other day I had pain radiating from in between my fingers all the way to my shoulder. Today I was holding my coffee mug and my arm started aching.

I don't know what the doctor can do for it. I don't know how the surgery (if that is an option) would help. I'm sure all he can do is give me a better brace and prescribe some sort of mild pain killer. That is fine... I just know that I hurt and I want him to help me out.

Hang in there sweetie. I know it stinks, but perhaps they will have something to help you today.

I'll be thinking of you. Hugs!

You still get your gift - 'cause you're my pal. I'll just take the next 3, kay? [I think you could use a little cheering up anyway, eh?]

Oh, carpal tunnel pain is terrible! And, it's hard to get people to commiserate unless they've experienced it.

I hope the doc can help you out. I can only imagine your frustration.

I have carpal tunnel also. I have to wear braces on both arms every night or I pay for it all the next day. My dr told me that I wouldn't need surgery until it got to the place where I couldn't pick up a paper clip.

Well, what did the doc do? Amputate your arm? Shoot you up with drugs and now you have to find a street supplier? Refer you to a shrink because it's all in your head? Call Earnest Ainsley for a healing (after you donate your kid’s savings now and in the future to his ministry and you receive a prayer cloth he actually prayed over?) What?

I've had problems with carpal tunnel, too. I know it's horrible, and I have a pretty mild case of it, so I can't imagine what you must be going through. I wore a wrist brace and an elbow brace, took some neurontin for a few weeks and did much better. I was able to stop the meds and just use the braces as needed now.

Trailboss -- wow... mine isn't that bad and I hope yours never progresses that far.

Thank you for stopping by, too!
