In 24 hours J-man and I will be travelling to Greenville for his pre-op appointment. I can't believe his surgery is next week!!!
He's nervous - and rightfully so. But he is also excited because he gets to roam around places in a wheelchair. I think he invisions girls fawning all over him and asking if they can nurse him back to health. Oh, the fantasies of a pre-teen. Lord, is he going to be sorely disappointed!!!
I'm worried sick about it. I hope we are doing the right thing.
BUT
J-man made the decision. He seems to be ready for it.
We'll see how he handles seeing the doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, and hospital rooms tomorrow. I think that dose of reality might send him reeling.
I'll let you know.
oops.

Big positive vibes for you and your family, Marni.
I will be thinking about and praying for him.
PT&P headed your way!
Good Luck J-Man.
Marni - take a deep breathe. In fact, take a bunch. It will be ok and you are doing the right thing. He deserves to have this happen.
I'll be thinking of you both.
I hope the surgery goes well and is everything J-Man wants it to be.
Will keep you and J man in my thoughts and prayers. How is your aunt doing? I have been keeping her in my prayers, too.
Hugs x
It is harder on Mama than on the kiddies, ya know? Hugs...
Good luck. Sending prayers your way.
