I need to stay away from stop signs

Remember the stop sign at work where I almost got killed? Well something else happened there today.

I was heading to lunch and was walking up to the sign. There was a big ol' paneled van - like a moving truck - stopped there. I waved at it as if to say "go ahead". Instead, one of the two cute young guys in the cab rolled down his window and said "you need something?"

I said "Nope... just telling you to go ahead. I'll wait on you to pass."

He looked disappointed.

Did he think I was waving them down for a little afternoon delight?

I know there are hookers around our area... but sheesh...
