I am NOT going to work today. I am taking a day of vacation.
Carl and I have eye doctor appointments and then NOTHING. YAY!
I went to the NASCAR race yesterday. If you ever want to feel better about yourself go to the county fair or NASCAR. More about that later... typing takes work... and I'm not working today.

KB and I are both working and MOVING today. WUHOO! And, I am jealous that you got to go to a race. I love NASCAR. :-)
Cindydianne got it right. My personal ring tone on Marni's phone is the song "I Love NASCAR" by somebody. Marni can fill you in. But she did get the love of racing from her decrepit old man.
The three best sounds in the world are my grandkids laughing; a jet fighter passing overhead, going to full throttle and the afterburners cut in and the plain going vertical; and the sound of 43 tightly bunched up stockcars completing the first lap of a race. Chills from all three.
Taking a day off? Me, too!
