My dad had this meme over at his site. I still can't think of a thing to tell you, so I figured this would work.
1. The phone rings. Who are you hoping it is? The producers of The Amazing Race telling me we need to fly to LA for a callback.
2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart? Yes. It's karma. I know that if I don't return it, the next time I'm in a parking lot a cart will somehow find its way to my car and put a huge dent in it.
3. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener? Believe it or not, I'm pretty shy at first. Once I'm comfortable, though, I'll talk your ear off.
4. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive? Only if I can find the nearest hotel - or someplace with a shower.
5. Do you like horses? Yes - especially when I am around them with Bug. She lights up when she sees them and that makes me happy.
6. Did you ever go to camp as a kid? Yes. Went to girl scout camp a couple of times.
7. What was your favorite board game as a kid? Being an only child, I didn't get to play too many board games. As an adult my favorite game is the Disney version of Sorry (when I play with the kids) or Trivial Pursuit.
8. If a sexy person was pursuing you, but you knew he/she was taken what would you do? I would be flattered, but would tuck my tail between my legs and run in the other direction yipping like a scared puppy. Then I would tell Carl and laugh when he gets all flustered that someone was pursuing his woman.
9. Are you judgmental? I can be.
10. Would you date someone with different religious beliefs? Not now because I'm married, but if I were single - why not? You might learn something from them.
11. Are you continuing your education? Nope. I got my Masters in 2002 and decided that was enough for me. My kids' educations are top priority now.
12. Do you know how to shoot a gun? Yes. Carl used to take me to the shooting range. Haven't been in a long time so I would probably shoot my foot off or something.
13. If your house was on fire, what’s the first thing you’d grab? The kids, the dogs and my wedding album (if I could find it).
14. How often do you read books? Every single day. I have two or three going at the same time. I read every night before going to sleep.
15. Do you think more about the past, present or future? Certain songs make me think of the past. I worry about the future for my kids, but I try to live in the here and now.
16. What is your favorite children’s book? From my childhood - The Little Engine That Could. My granny used to read it to me all the time. From the kid's collection - If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
17. How tall are you? I think I'm 5’5”.
18. Where is your ideal house located? Where we live now. I love my house! The only thing that would make it better is if it where on a farm where Bug could have a horse and we could have more dogs.
19. Last person you talked to? My boss.
20. When was the last time you were at the Olive Garden? A few years ago. I can't stand the place!
21. What are your keys on your key chain for? There is a key for the house, car, truck and a couple for my desk at work.
22. What did you do last night?Watched American Idol, played ToonTown and kissed the kids. I also spent some time tickling J-man because he was being a butt and I had to put him in his place.
23. Where is your current pain at? My head. I'm overwhelmed at work and I didn't get any sleep because of it.
24. Do you like mustard? At times. My step-dad introduced us to a "Coney Island" mustard that is AMAZINGly good.
25. Did you like your mom and dad? I don't just like them, I love them. I have grown to appreciate what they did for me growing up as the child of divorced parents. They are the best!
26. How long does it take you to shower? About 15 minutes -- unless I decide to shave my legs. That pushes it to about 25.
27. What movie do you want to see right now? The next Harry Potter
28. Do you put lotion on your dog or cats? No. They don't like that kind of stuff. They just want to snuggle and give me pugsturizer. (anyone that owns a pug will KNOW what that means)
29. What did you do for New Year’s? Watched TV with my hubby.
30. Do you think the The Grudge was scary? I don’t know. I hate scary movies so I didn't see it. It looked scary, though.
31. Do you own a camera phone?Yep. Do I use it? Nope.
32. What’s the last letter of your middle name? E.
33. Who did you vote for on American Idol? Taylor Hicks. Soul Patrol! Soul Patrol! Woooooo!
So there...

Alot of your answers are a lot like mine. I would survive in the wilderness if I could find a motel, I am crazy shy with new people, but I will talk your head off once I am comfortable, I watched TV on New Years Eve with Hubby and kids......I don't always return my cart, though, andI have never shot a gun. I do hope that you get a phone call from The Amazing Race producers....
Damn, cuz; sorry to read you're overwhelmed. Need a chat?
Enjoyed it. These are kind of fun. Check mine out - I got it off Coffee's.
I'm glad you liked that meme....your dad hijacked it from my place. See?!? I told you hae was only *pretending* to be so angelic! :) It's no biggie, though...I stole it, too!
We've got a lot of similarities, but some not-so-close ones, too. I could hurt you for some good fettuccine! (Though I prefer Macaroni Grill's to Olive Garden! :)
You can keep the guns. After being held at gunpoint twice, I think that's my life's allotment of guns, thankyouverymuch!
Sorry for the dearth of ideas. Hope you guys aren't as freezing in the ATL as we are here!
Love to all!
I'm #3! You'll flow again soon. Just ride with tht wave.
Howdy Marni, I resorted to a meme yesterday too! :-D
In High School I loved Bon Jovi and Def Leppard!
I am an only child too!
