Perk

With all the fussing I do about my new job I must admit I enjoy one perk. I can work from home.

I'm doing that right now.

The kids have dentist appointments today and it didn't make sense for me to drive all the way in only to turn around and go back home.

I'm sitting in my "office" chair, sipping my coffee, and listening to the TV in the background. It is glorious -- except for the kids making all their kid noises. I would like some quiet, but not gonna happen! Oh well.

I'm home and I can eat out of my refrigerator. I can use my own bathroom. Heck, I could even take a nap if I wanted!

I love this perk!

Uh...Marni...little bit of dichotomy going on here if they don't [in fact] need blogging at your job. Heehee...I am kidding y'know....

Blogging from home rocks it all

Hate you. How often do you get to work from home?

Indoors: Believe it or not I did work today!

Skippy: Blogging rockes period. I tend to do it first thing when I get to work before anyone else gets in.

Beth: Kisses! I can work from home when I need to. If I feel sick and don't want to come in, but have the capacity to work they say do it from home. If the kids are out and Carl has to work, I can work from here. It's awesome!

I work from home, too. Uh, well, uh! The term may not be work, but I am at home. I can drink coffee, diet coke, beer, take the dogs out so we can piss in the back yard, and, uh, oh yea, take a nap. So...zzzzzzzz.

I work from home all the time. Well, that isn't exactly true. I commute the 45 minutes to work twice a month on average. I am so, so, so lucky!

Woo hoo! I also can work from home when I'm not visiting clients. It friggin rocks. I do like my co-workers in the office, but getting there takes and hour and an hour back. So that's two more hours to my day. (Not that I'm any more efficient.) I do try not to abuse the ability to take naps, but who said I never took a nap in the office?

I.am.so.jealous. I wish I could work from home, especially considering that more than half my job just requires me to sit and edit stuff. But no dice. Take advantage of the perk!
