Kids say funny things...my youngest, Nicole age 5 (barely), was at home getting ready for school last Friday when she said...I think we are having a birthday celebration at preschool today. I asked her who the party was for (thinking it was a classmate) to which she replied...

My nephew, who will be 5 this summer, told my mom that he was going on a field trip to see "the brown king in a box". They are so innocent, aren't they?!

Marni........ I've enjoyed reading your blog. my sister has a 3 yr old pug...I was wondering if your pug has ever had breathing problems, allergies, or any other weird problems. The latest thing to happen to her poor pug is she fell down her hard wood floor stairs, and I think she injured herself. The pug is having trouble climbing stairs. The vet said she may have bruised herself and gave my sister pain meds for a week. You can email me anytime at Sassy4556@aol.com
I've had 2 dogs myself . 1 was a mutt cockapoo/snauser and now i have a purebred cocker spaniel. My dogs have never had problems like her pug. Thanks a lot.
hey, marni, I'm interested in the book that you are reading, by Stephen King.....Would youtell me about it? Please?
Biddie: this is is latest book and it is typical Stephen King. It is the story of Lisey Landon - widow of Scott Landon - and dealing with some strange happenings after his death. I haven't quite figured out what is going on, but I can tell it is going to get creepy. It seems Scott had a "place" he went to when he was upset or angry and it may have strange characters in it. (I haven't gotten that far)
It has been harder to get into than others of King's, but I am plodding along because I love him SO much. It is bound to get better -- and it has as I've gotten further in the book.
I'll do a better review once I'm done.
