... and my butt is draggin'! I keep yawning and heavy sighing... it is just plain pitiful! I believe I will take a Tylenol PM tonight just to get some shut eye.
Could my sleep cycle be shifting? I've heard that happens. That just doesn't seem right, though. I fall asleep easy enough, but then I wake up and look at the clock, the ceiling, the blinds, etc. Sometimes I wonder "where the heck am I" so I have to wake up a little more to figure that out. Then it takes a few minutes to relax enough to fall back asleep only to do it AGAIN an hour (or less) later.
Should I talk to the doctor about this or should I just tough it out?
No sleep makes mama cranky... and you know that saying "If mama ain't happy - ain't nobody happy". Yep... pretty much.
oops.

I definitely think you should see a doctor. It’s not normal for someone to sleep so sporadically. I believe your sub-conscious is working overtime, and you are worrying about things that you don’t know about or realize is a problem. Unfortunately you have to wait until you are my age before you realize that there is absolutely NOTHING in this world that is that important. Let me know what you decide.
Okee dokee - will do...
now when are you going to write something on your blog?
I swear by diet and exercise (neither of which I do enough, admittedly).
I was a walking basket-case for several years going through what you're describing, until I did two things: (1) tried to get a little more exercise each day, and (2) changed my diet so I had small, instead of large, dinners with fewer sugars and starch after 5pm.
To compensate, if I was hungry when I woke up, I'd have a larger breakfast. That did it for me. Now I sleep like a baby (unless I'm compelled to have spaghetti or ice cream late at night).
You may just have yourself stuck in a bad sleep pattern; you know, trained yourself to wake up. Maybe a week or two straight of Tylenol PM might help ... said the cousin who never sleeps.
And, Coffeypot, when are you going to post something on your blog? Your fans are clamoring for your stories!
I think it is daylight savings time.
