I wish I had become a radio DJ.
I didn't because:
- I didn't think I had the talent
- I heard the pay is horrible unless you are on a popular show
- I didn't know "how" to get in the industry
- I thought my accent would get in they way (I am SO country y'all)
- I didn't have the GUTS
I tell the kids to figure out what it is you love and find a job doing that. I have said before... I love music. I love the radio. It would have been a perfect fit.

Your accent is what country radio is all about girl! :) and you have the BEST voice. I know.
Don't ever discount that you couldn't still do this. Think about it.
Where there is a will - there is a way.
If anyone can find a way - you will.
