So jealous

Dad met me, J-man, Bug and my mom at the hospital yesterday. After our appointment he took my two young-uns with him to New Jersey. It was a 12 hour drive and they made it there around 9:30 last night.

Judy - my stepmom and Coffeypots best half - is working in NJ and the kids are on spring break... seemed like a good time for dad to take them on a roadtrip.

Bug just called and told me that she, J-man and dad are taking a horse drawn carriage ride around Central Park.

I'm still letting that sink in.

My babies are in that big ol' city of New York with their pawpaw... and I'm not with them.

They are in one of my favorite cities and doing things that I want to do... and I'm not with them.

Instead I am sitting at a computer doing my every day job while my kids are in such a wonderful, exciting, thrilling town. They are having a blast.

And I'm not with them.

I am SOOOOO jealous.

I am so jealous, too! Sounds like they will have a great time! Thught I was having one of your ghost experiences the yesterday. I heard Jingle Bell Rock playing while I was at the computer. I knew it wasn't my ring tone, it wasn't the TV but it was familiar. The dog had knocked it down and it is sensor motivated, so it started playing! My bedroom fan did something strange the other day too! Have you got Ghostbusters phone number??

Sorry that you didn't get to go. Did you send Punkin and One-eyed Jack with them?

Maybe you should take a lover. That will make you feel better.

Oh, me too! I was in NYC once, almost ten years ago, and I LOVED it! I loved Central Park, and I longed for a carriage ride...
I'm glad that your kids are having a wonderful time. These are memories that will last a life time!

Ouch. If I didn't know better, I would say it certainly sounds as if you are jealous.

I'm jealous, too -- but it's great their grandfather is so involved in their lives.
