Single pirates

We are all back to playing Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean online. It is such a fun, addictive game! If you are into that sort of thing you should give it a shot. You get to use swords, daggers, voodoo dolls, and pistols against skeletons, crabs, wasps, and soldiers. PLUS you get to sail and sink ships!

Totally addictive and so NOT totally a kid's game.

Anyhoo

Carl was playing last night and at one point did a little snort and said "well, that was strange."

It seems a female character asked him to be his friend.

In this game you make friends to complete tasks - because some are too hard to do alone. You also join Crews or Guilds to complete others. You can really become friends with these folks via live chat (which is one reason we STOPPED playing before. Some folks may have been getting a little TOO friendly with the hubs)

Anyway... he said yes to the friendship and she asked him one question...

"Are you single?"

Carl responded by saying, "No... married with two kids"

And she "unfriended" him.

Soooo

Is Disney's Pirate's game the new pickup joint?

LOL! This made me laugh so hard! Poor Carl :( thrown aside, sigh....game sounds like fun tho'!

Think the oldest [16] is okay to play?

Toon town definitely -- you only have specific phrases you can choose to talk to someone. Even your youngest could play it and you wouldn't have to worry - AND she would LOVE it. Trust.

Pirates is a little more risky because there is free chat, BUT I think you can somehow set up the account so it knows the age of the player and specific words/phrases are blocked.

It's from Disney... they want kids to be safe.

Wow. An online pick-up joint?

What's the URL for this game?

That is kinda creepy, especially if kids can play this game, makes me wonder who's lurking out there in gameland.

LOL! Who would have ever thought?

Oh my...Lol. I hate the idea of creepers lurking. Sounds like that lady should have looked elsewhere, like ALT or whatever that site is called.

Ha! Some people will try anything to find a man. I bet she doesn't even like that game.
