The doctor's visit went well. They are amazed at how well his feet look - as we all are.
His surgery to remove the hardware is July 21. He'll be in the hospital for a couple of days and will be able to walk out. We'll have a wheelchair for him just in case he is too sore, but we are happy that it won't be another six weeks of non-weight bearing like before.
Also, they are so thrilled with his results they want to make a video of his progress for others to see. There are kids that need this same type of surgery but are hesitant. J-man's video will show them what he went through and the results. He's pretty proud of that. He is excited to think that he may be able to help some other kid.
Once again... so proud of him.
