I give...

I have natually wavy/curly hair. Every morning I work HARD to get it straight.

I use an all in one shampoo/conditioner made specifically to straighten hair... and then I add another conditioner on top of that.

I use a straightening spray before I dry my hair and then I use a straight iron. Once it is dry I have a hair paste that I use on the front and top of my head to control frizzies.

THEN I add a humidity blocking hairspray to finish it off.

And within minutes of walking outside my hair is wavy and frizzy.

I give. I live in Atlanta where it is hot and humid. I guess I have to give in to the curl and just let it be.

But how do I keep the curl from getting frizzy? I can't afford more products!!!! GAH!!!!

And on a totally different topic... this cracks me up!!!! You MUST go to this site... NOW... the baby is sooo flippen scary...

I am putting it in my faves just because I can...

That baby cake is all sorts of creepy.

I have no suggestions for your hair. Mine is straight and it still frizzes with the humidity.

I use shampoo and conditioner that theoretically are for curly hair, though I'm usually fine with stuff that just makes it squeaky clean (no residue). I'm currently a fan of Dove. I use curl creme for my curls - I like the hold and it doesn't make my hair hard like gel. There's a whole array of products but they don't have to be expensive. Garnier makes one that's like $6 for the jar, and it lasts a while.

I use Big shampoo from Lush (you can get it online if they don't have one near you), and though it's a weird consistency it is good for maxing out the curl without too much frizz. And then I use D-FI blue hair wax for a medium hold - it's sticky enough to support and fluff out the curl as it dries, but heavy enough to keep fly-aways down.

A friend of mine has the same problem. I think she's been going to a salon and having her hair straightened.

The cakes were hilarious. I had to submit one that my husband saw not long ago, and I hope it gets in! If not, I'll send you a picture. :)
