Thankful

The things I am thankful for include:
  • My kids - they may be little pains in the ass but I love them anyway.
  • Carl - ditto
  • My parents - I know I can always depend on them and their love for me keeps me going.
  • My step-parents - for making my parents happy.
  • My health - I haven't been taking care of myself like I should, but my body is hanging in there!
  • My puggers - they bring me joy every day.
  • My job - it keeps me busy and pays the bills.
  • Vacations - without them I would go in-freakin'-sane.
  • My friends - even though I don't see them much, I know it would only take a phone call and they'd be there for me.
  • Past relationships (both good and bad) - without them I would not be the person I am today.
  • My blog - sound silly but this is one thing that has kept me sane. It has introduced me to some wonderful new people that make me feel like I AM normal and support me 100%. It also has helped me reconnect with people from my past and for that I will always be thankful.
  • My extended family - they love me unconditionally! How can you not be thankful for that?
  • Our troops - they are fighting for the freedoms I take for granted. I am truly thankful for those brave men and women.

I'm sure there are more -- and you can add your own. I'm off to enjoy the next 6 days off from work. I'll be posting occasionally but reading every day.

In the mean time --

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!

What — you're not thankful for Michael's ghost watching over the kids?

Your next 6 days off should give you a chance to get your elf dance together.

I seem to be more concerned this year with what I and others are thankful for than the turkey. I think that means I am getting older.

Happy Thanksgiving!
