If you didn't watch Lost last night this will contain spoilers. You are forwarned.
Lost rocked last night! Let's recap...
- Raise your hand if you KNEW it wasn't Ben that Locke kidnapped (mine is raised).
- Did Desmond really think he could keep Naomi a secret? She is in a TENT that is just feet away from Jack and his lady love... come on!
- Why can't Sayid get anything to work on that island? Gilligan's professor had better luck with radios that him!
- What about the "tingles" that Ben got when Locke was around? I'm assuming it was his back! HA! Does Locke has some mysterious healing ability now that he's on the island? If Locke doesn't stay with Ben will Ben get sick again?
- I truly didn't expect Sawyer to actually kill Locke's dad. But how heart wrenching was the conversation they had? And when he ripped up that letter I literally let out a HUGE gasp. Those were Sawyer's thoughts since he was a young boy and that jerk just ripped it up like it was nothing.
- Sawyer's eyes told the whole story didn't they? He was full of anger, anquish, misery and hate; pure, unfathomable, uncontrollable hate. (That scene and the one with Locke in the woods, in my opinion, should earn Josh Holloway an emmy nomination.)
- What was up with Danielle and the dynamite? What is that crazy beeatch up to now?
- I love Nestor Carbonelle's character -- Richard, right? I wonder if he could be in cahoots with Juliette to oust Ben?
- Speaking of Juliette -- what is this BIG secret that she and Jack are keeping from Kate? Spill the beans, chick.
- Does Jack really think he is STILL the leader of this group? He was gone for a week and the Losties made it fine without him. Now he comes back with the enemy and sits on his a$$ in the tent all day. I don't see him mixing and mingling with everyone like he did before. I don't blame them for not trusting him... and yet he thinks they should.
- Don't you love Sayid's suspicion of everyone? I'm calling it now -- he and Naomi will be an item. He needs some lovin' and if I can't be there for him, I guess she is the next best thing. What are his other choices? Claire has Charlie (ick... shudder), Kate has Sawyer (insert daydream here), Juliette has Jack (insert another daydream), Rose has Bernard (if they are still around), Desmond only has eyes for Penny, and Nikki is in the ground. No other swingin' singles have been introduced. It is inevitible. (of course, she could be a chubby chaser and actually hook up with Hurley!)
I can't think of anything else right now. I'm off to Pop Candy at USA Today. They have an awesome discussion thread each Thursday to discuss the night's episode.
What did you think about it? Leave your thoughts and observations in the comments.

I totally knew that Locke didn't have Ben tied up. I'm not getting why Sayid can't get anything to work - maybe he's meant to keep everything broken? I was also wondering about Ben and his back. He wasn't getting any better and then Locke shows up and he's up and about? The scenes for next week seem to allude to something big with Locke, and I have this feeling it has to do with him being in a wheelchair again. I don't know why.
I REALLY want to know what this secret is that Juliet and Jack are hiding. What could it be? Is it just that the pregnant women on the island all end up dying?
I can't wait for next week!
I like that they've finally started to answer some stuff the last few weeks. It was slow going for a while.
I missed last nights episode, so I'm glad for the recap.
Sawyer killed Locke's dad? How? Oh man, i'm sorry that I missed it.
loved it, loved it, loved it. i was glad they really tied sawyer and locke to locke's dad even though it wasn't a shock. i was soooo pissed when he ripped the letter. he deserved to die just for that.
Maybe the secret is that they somehow know that Kate's preggers.
Juliet did mention that the island causes men to have an increased sperm count and Jack knows Kate slept with Sawyer.
I don't really know Locke but one thing's for sure -- I think I may be missing out! Haha!
