I think all politicians are crooked and out to fulfill their own agendas. They will say whatever it takes to get your vote and then do what they want once in office. There are some that aren't like that -- at least I hope so -- but for the most part they are lying scumbags (do you call a lady scumbag and scumbagette?)
I know that no matter what, when you put someone in office, the other "team" is going to bitch, moan, groan, and raise hell about that elected official until the next election. It is BORING and painful.
I do know one thing... there is a person in an elected position right now that I do not like. I haven't liked this person since I first heard of her. She is a snake in the grass and I don't trust her one little bit. I am worried that if she gets elected to a higher office, this country will continue on its downward spiral. I hope it isn't the case, but the reputation of this family isn't exactly the best. (IMHO)
I do love doggies though!
If you decide to comment to this post (which not a lot of folks seem to be doing lately!), please don't try to get me in a political debate. I won't do it... I just like this picture because it is how I feel about Hillary and any political figure. I know we need them to run this country... some do it well and some suck. BUT they are humans that are doing a job. They claim to be doing it for the good of the people but I think that is BS.
I just think the picture is a hoot! (Thanks, Dad)

Okay, I have to get on my soapbox here. I get so tired of Hillary Clinton being called "evil" and other terms ... and it's all because she's a strong, intelligent, aggressive woman.
This has nothing to do with politcal leanings. It has everything to do with gender leanings.
Rudy Guliani is also running for president. The press fawns over him because he handled the situation post-Sept. 11 well. But people in NYC hate him because he was petty, mean, and went after people who opposed him. Not very presidential, is that? But he's a man, so he gets by with it. He's expected to be aggressive.
I'm a Democrat, but I'm not supporting Hillary in the primaries. However, as a woman who lives by her own rules and is independent, I feel I must stand up for her.
Not debating you... just don't like her.
Oh I love the picture.
I think we could be in the same club house.
great photo and i dont do politics either so snap!
I don't do politics either.
As Homer Simpson would say, "Bohhhrrrrinnggg!"
Cool picture! :)
Let's try this again!
Beth - Hillary isn't being called evil because she's a strong, intelligent, aggressive women. I am a strong, intelligent, aggressive women (well, less aggressive than intelligent and strong, but still) and I can't stand her. Not because she is a women. I don't like her because of her politics, her seeming lack of integrity and her choice of spouses. If she were a man, I wouldn't like her either. I get tired of people assuming that people who call her evil are doing it because she is strong (absolutely), intelligent (eh), and agressive (yep) woman.
Marni - I like the pic.
Well, let’s see. She is where she is from riding the coattails of her husband. If not, she would probably be a disbarred lawyer in jail for her White Water involvement and her lying (something her husband was impeached for doing.) When she was told to produce her documents, she did know where they were. Then, after the heat settled, she found them in the White House bedroom. Lying comes real easy for those two.
When Billy the Cigar Stuffer was Governor of Arkansas, she worked vigorously on education – and AK was still 50 in the nation on education.
And to keep her in power, which she craves, she moved to NY – the only state that would have her and because of their lax resident requirements law – where she won because Rudi dropped out.
She is a reluctant opponent of the war because she knows that the majority of America supports it. Only the Liberal media opposes it (and anything else a Republican supports.) But she loathes the military and is hated by them.
Then the Liberal community gave her an Oscar for plagiarizing an old African folk lore, “It Takes A Village.” Nothing she printed was original, but it did promote Socialism – taking the responsibility of raising a child from the parents and putting it on society.
And lately she was very vocal on the Don Imas fiasco. She called him small minded bigoted. But last weekend she accepted of $800,000 at a fund raiser in Miami for some rapper who used the N word over 25 times in his latest record.
She had a horrible reputation while she was in the White House. Imagine what she will be like as President? I am not a big Rudi or McCain fan, but either has more integrity than she ever had. And both have done more for their country.
I’m just saying…
Marni, you echoed my sentiments about politics. You'll get no political debate from me. There's two topics I absolutely won't discuss/argue/debate -- politics and religion. No way, no how.
Love the pic!!
you said everything I think. I hate talking politics.
Well said, CoffeyPot!!!!
I love the picture as well. I'm not huge on politics but I vote each and every time they open the polls. Why? Because I can and because women before me stood up and earned that right for me.
I am really irritated when people complain about how things are run in this country but then don't vote, or worse yet, aren't even registered to vote.
I can't stand Hillary either. Not because she is a strong, intelligent, aggressive woman. (Hell, I'm all of those and more - if I do say so myself - lol) I can't stand Hillary because as CoffeyPot pointed out, she's a liar and carpetbagger. And if she was such a strong woman (as everyone claims she is), why the heck did she just let Bill make make a fool of her by sending her out to the media to claim that there was a "right wing conspiracy" against him and then let her political ambitions mean more to her than her pride? I would have had more respect for her if she had kicked his sorry, cheating ass to the curb as soon as he left the presidency for being a cheating, lying dog. But obviously if she had done that, she would have lost some of her "political clout". That's definitely not the example I want of a strong, intelligent, aggressive woman that I want my daughter to see. Strong women stand up for themselves and don't allow men to make fools of them.
Just my opinion.
