I am delurking to comment on your precious pug. I also live in the Atlanta area (Forsyth County) and we have two pugs - Baxter and Daisy. I am convinced that pugs are the best breed ever!! That tongue on your dog is pretty impressive! I love the Gene Simmons reference. By the way - have you ever made it to "Pug Fest"? We haven't been to one in the last several years, but we went to our first one when we were "researching" pugs, and were invited to come out. Nothing like seeing a herd of 35-40 pugs running toward you as you enter the fenced area. We were smittened from the first time we saw them.
We have never been to PugFest. It always falls on the same Saturday that my step-grandmother has her birthday party. (And family comes first, ya know!)
We plan on going sometime... we rescued our other pug from SEPRA and support their cause whole-heartedly.
I'm so happy you share your love of pugs. They are the absolute BEST breed. I don't think we'll ever have another kind.
Of course - Bug is begging us for a chiuahah (However you spell it) but I don't know if I can handle something THAT little. :)
LOL!!! I just found you blog and absolutly love it!!!! I also have a pug named Molly and her tounge does the same thing!!!! It looks like a fruit roll up.

What a handsome boy! Ever since Heidi introduced me to Pug Love, I am smitten! They're little love sponges. He's the Gene Simmons of Pugs.....
I LOVE that description of him! Must steal it and use it every chance I get.
Oh my gosh. Is this for real? How does he fit that in his mouth?
Yes... that is his real tongue... amazing isn't it?!!!! He always has at least the tip hanging out of his mouth.
It looks like that when he is hot. The hotter he gets the longer it is!
Soooo funny!
Exactly WHAT do you use that long tongue for?
Don't ask... :)
ha ha don't ask what he uses such a long tongue for!!!

I think his tongue is actually half the length of his body. But he's a cutie pie just the same!
