We have been talking to both kiddos forever about drugs. I hope it works later on. The pressure is obviously just starting.Marnihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03543853940645527249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28046812.post-1155139947200917732006-08-09T12:12:00.000-04:002006-08-09T12:12:00.000-04:00I will echo everyone's sentiments.Good work mom.I will echo everyone's sentiments.<BR/>Good work mom.Old Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06333172930957879928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28046812.post-1155134575028727692006-08-09T10:42:00.000-04:002006-08-09T10:42:00.000-04:00That's great that he told you. You should definitely be proud of him and you deserve a big pat on the back too for the way you are raising him.<BR/>I've never been big on home schooling, but stories like that help me understand why some people choose to do it. Middle school is such a scary place. Between the drugs and kids that age (especially the girls for some reason) thinking that oral sex is no big deal, it's enough to drive a mom nuts.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07408812623680651806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28046812.post-1155126694628869652006-08-09T08:31:00.000-04:002006-08-09T08:31:00.000-04:00Klee: I'm glad he told us, too. He's a good kid and I am so proud of him... now if we can get the trash out of that school.Marnihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03543853940645527249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28046812.post-1155124224899360612006-08-09T07:50:00.000-04:002006-08-09T07:50:00.000-04:00I can't believe it; that's so scary. But it's good to see that you raised him well and that he knew exactly what to say.Cuphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00306848986781193911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28046812.post-1155124040800091602006-08-09T07:47:00.000-04:002006-08-09T07:47:00.000-04:00Yikes! It makes all those fears about middle school stand right up, doesn't it?<BR/><BR/>He handled it very well.
